Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world; however, some products have shipping restrictions, or cannot be shipped to international destinations.

If you are shipping to any location other than the lower 48 states, please contact us directly to figure out your shipping charges.

• Free shipping is available for some orders and not all over $500.00 shipping to the lower 48 states.  Other terms and conditions may apply. 
• Shipping for Generator Units is estimated by region, and based on a continental US address inside the lower 48 States.

• Standard Shipping requires a commercial loading dock or its equivalent is required. Your shipping address must be non-residential and accessible by a 52 ft. trailer. You must be able to get your generator from the inside of the trailer, move it towards the trailer door, and unload it with equipment you have on site. If your delivery does not fall within the above stated standards please select from the special services offered below. 

• Special Shipping Options (additional charges apply)
  • 24 hour notice, there is no charge for this service. This information is intended to be used by the freight carrier only. There may be additional charges at the time of delivery if this option was not selected and should have been.
  • Lift-gate service. The lift-gate will lower the equipment to ground level, curbside. There is a charge for this service. There may be additional charges at the time of delivery if this option was not selected and should have been.
  • Residential delivery must be selected if delivery is to non-commercial address. If you select this option without selecting any other options above, a 52 ft. semi must be able to deliver and YOU must be able to offload yourself. Additional charges apply.
  • Freight carriers may or may not drive down dirt roads and availability may be limited in some areas.
  • Additional fees may be assessed for remote locations including island and ferry locations and re-consignment.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based.

Return & Exchanges

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper.  This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
In many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.

No products may be returned or exchanged without written consent from Generac and AES of the Midwest, Inc or any of its DBA's. All returns must be preauthorized with RMA# supplied by office with return shipping labels within 30 days. Call office at 402-298-5355 for processing any returns. No outbound freight will be refunded. Refunds may take 3 weeks for processing and inspection of product. 25% restock may be assessed for shipping and freight charges even if product included free shipping. No engine powered equipment can be returned after it has been gassed or oiled per federal shipping regulations. All returns must be in unopened boxes with original material packaging and in sellable condition. Special order and factory direct orders cannot be returned.
